Machines builders are becoming a rare commodity in the UK these days so more and more equipment is being sourced from abroad. Often the electrical Drawings and PLC software documentation is written in the language of the country of manufacture. This doesn’t cause an issue during the commissioning stage as generally this is carried out by staff from the manufacturer. However it does become an issue once the machine has been commissioned and has run out of warranty and the in house engineers are required to carry out changes etc.
